Delmer Darion, a London-based duo who released the acclaimed album Morning Pageants last year, have dropped the video for their single, ‘Pearse’. Musically, their album is an impressive work of experimentation and eclecticism, taking as much from distant, lo-fi folk as jazz and avant-garde electronic music. The video for this single is based around footage from a dive in the Pearse resurgence, a water-filled cave in New Zealand. “The song is designed to sound like an old folksy artefact plucked out of history and plonked into the middle of an experimental electronic album, and we wanted the video to have a similar aesthetic,” the pair explain. -Dan Peeke
